30 Days of Blogging - Day 1

Before I started this blog I had no idea that I liked writing so much or that blogging was therapeutic for me, even if what I wrote wasn't anything important, I just loved to do it. Over the summer I didn't blog as much. I had writers block/lack of motivation. I can honestly say that I was super bummed about not knowing what to write about. Now I feel like I'm back in the blogging world and I want to write. The only problem is that there is absolutely nothing interesting going on in our lives. We have no kids, so I can't blog about funny/cute/frustrating mommy stories. I'm not pregnant so I can't tell you that I have something the size of a pea/pear/cantaloupe/watermelon growing inside of me and that I spend my time puking. Nothing has changed with us that I haven't already blogged about. What do you write about when you have nothing to say? Well I have this friend, Olivia. She is doing this thing where she has a list of things that she will blog about everyday for 30 days. So I'm going to steal it and do it too. Cause that's what friends do - steal blog ideas from each other.

So lets get started.

Day 1- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.

I know what you're thinking - did she get a haircut? The answer is yes. I feel like I should put a semi-normal picture up just to make myself feel better.

There.

1. I don't use an eyelash curler because one time I accidentally pinched my eyelid in one and I cried and I haven't touched one since.
2. I have the big dipper in freckles on my left arm.
3. I fractured my skull when I was a baby. And I didn't even cry - mostly because I was unconscious.
4. I had kidney failure when I was 5.
5. Rick might be going to England for 3 weeks.
6. I want to be a nurse.
7. I want to skydive before I die because it would be cool and to get over my fear of heights.
8. I married a graffiti artist.
9. I am deathly afraid of mannequins.
10. Me and Rick are crybabies. We recently cried during an episode of the cooking show "Chopped".
11. I hate dirty floors and dirty carpet because I don't want my feet/socks to get dirty.
12. I'm kind of OCD.
13. I have incredibly thick/black leg hair and if I don't shave every other day then my beastly leg hairs rubs against my jeans and it hurts.
14. I hate the smell of metal.
15. I almost married a guy named Altawalpe because that is what my in laws almost named Rick.

How do you do that with your eyes? Freaky. I hate dirty socks too and change my socks several times a day.
