Now for the great news. I applied for another job where I work. It's a full time job as the Nursing Secretary. Today I got a call from the head of the Nursing department and he said "Are you still interested in that job?" I said "yes" and he said "Well then its yours. We're not going to even interview with you, we've heard nothing but good things about you and we're happy to have you in our department."
It's true. I am the glue holding that company together. But really, I was so flattered to hear him say that. The job is Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 10:30. It's going to be a bit of a challenge going to school full time and working full time. I will be putting in 12 hour days 5 days a week, and I will probably never have a social life ever again (clearly this is going to be a big change for me, after all, it is 9:25 on a Friday night and I am home alone updating my blog), but this is what we need and we're both so lucky we have jobs, and not only that, but jobs that we love.
Now for a story on why from this day forward I will always lock the bathroom door when I take a shower. Last night I was tired so I decided to take a shower and go to bed. I get in the shower and 15 minutes later when I am just about done I hear a man's voice coming from the outside of the window in the bathroom that is always open. I scream. I had no idea I could scream that loud. I was sure that some creep was watching me shower from outside. I was wrong. The man was Rick, and he came into the bathroom (very quietly) to ask me a question. For some reason when he started talking it sounded like his voice was coming from outside. Maybe it was because of the echo, or maybe it was the fact that it was 3 in the morning and I was exhausted. Who knows. But it scared me. Actually it probably scared anyone that heard it. We were sure our neighbors were going to call the cops, but luckily they didn't. Probably because all our neighbors hate us and like to leave us notes on our cars telling us to park on our side of the parking lot. Gotta love the apartment life.

Congrats on the nursing job! The shower story is pretty funny. That is totally something I would do.
