A nice day to live in Arizona

My oldest brother lives outside of Phoenix with his family, which is about 2 hours away from us, so it's the perfect distance to get away for a day or two and it still feels like a vacation. We went up there for a day to watch my niece, and we had a lot of fun.

They have a park right by their house with a huge man made pond. Last time we were here we went out on the paddle boats and went fishing.

Meeko has started to lift his leg when he goes potty and Rick has never been more proud. Proud enough to take a picture of it.

Meeko and Ralph (my brother's dog) loved to chase the ducks. Bailey tripped a few times because of how fast Ralph was running.

Rick kept encouraging Meeko to jump in the lake because he was "pretty sure that all dogs can swim".

Meeko was too afraid. Because I kept yelling at him to not do it. Rick really wanted him to swim so it went from encouraging to forcing.

Meeko smelled awesome afterward.

I freaked out for a second because of how cute the baby ducks behind us were. Baby animals make me squeal, I guess.

After our walk we went back home to make cookies.

Bailey was an awesome helper.

It's only fun when you lick all the frosting knives clean.

The finished products. I'm pretty sure I ate an entire plate of cookies. No shame.

The two love birds.
